Sixth Form: Being Me

‘Being Me’ is a not-for-profit organisation that uses evidence-based practice to help relieve the pressure and anxiety that modern lifestyles are inducing in school children.

The tailor-made programmes aim to tackle some of the more prominent causes of mental health issues caused by the modern world. They use a fresh and truly holistic approach, which encompasses a variety of techniques, including their bespoke ‘Real Life Mindfulness’ curriculum, boosting social connections, exercise and tools to improve self-awareness.

Every student is different, which is why they choose not to specialise in just one area. The aim of their programme is for students to find what works for them.

If any Year 12 and 13 students wish to be involved, then please email Mrs Carr. More information about ‘Being-Me’ can be found on their website
