Headteacher’s Message

I’d like to start this week by thanking everyone associated with Friesland School for their hard work this term, especially all our families who have done everything they can to support home learning. I sincerely hope that our road map back to school will be clear by the next time I write to you early next term.

Whilst my first academic year as headteacher is being somewhat dominated by the virus, I don’t want to allow that to completely overshadow everything we do as a school. With that in mind I am launching a suite of consultations about the future culture and ethos of Friesland School, with staff, parents and students. Below are links to the parent and student consultation documents, I would love your views to feed into the conversation. I realise we have asked your views quite a lot recently, but I believe in genuine communication, and really feel that we are at our best when we work together:

We have also created an FAQ document based on the feedback to our remote learning survey, which can be found on our website here:

As I said last week, we will not be setting work over half term, but will start again on February 22nd. I hope you all have a lovely break.
