Headteacher’s Message

Unfortunately, I will need to start with Covid again, having had a number of asymptomatic cases this week.

We have track and traced those cases, doing our absolute best to keep as many students in school as we possibly can. This is the approach we will continue to take, as I think the testing programme affords us more
confidence than we had back in the autumn around tracing close contacts as accurately as possible without compromising safety.

I do think it is really important that we all continue to follow the rules to ensure that spread of the virus is contained: not mixing bubbles in school or gathering outside of school, continuing to wear masks and
sanitising hands regularly during the day. By working together, we can ensure that students stay in school, where we are all so desperate for them to be.

I do hope that, in the not too distant future, I can write a newsletter message with no reference to viruses or public health.

A reminder that we break up on Thursday 1st April, the day before Good Friday, so next week is a four day week.
