We have been informed that following last week’s slight technical hiccup with Google Classroom last week some of our students are not able to access Google Classroom or other Google services on their phone. They may complain that their phone is trying to set up a ‘Work Profile’.
The fix that seems to work is to ask the student to remove the frieslandschool.com account from their phone.
Remove an account from your phone
Important: Settings can vary by phone. For more info, contact your device manufacturer.
- Open your phone’s settings app.
- Tap Accounts. If you don’t see ‘Accounts’, tap Users and accounts.
- Tap the account that you want to remove And then Remove account.
They do not need to uninstall Google Classroom or any other apps.
Once the account has been removed they can open the app as normal and carry on as they were before.
If they continue to have problems please ask them to pop to IT Support and we’ll help them out.
