Since the announcement on re-opening last Thursday (2nd July) we have been working to put together a draft plan for fully re-opening Friesland in September. We are currently consulting with our staff on that plan, and would also like your views should you have any. We have compared our plan with other schools, Derbyshire County Council and the Trust, and do believe that we have come up with a plan that is both safe and allows students to study their full range of subjects.
School will be different when we return, and the number one priority has to be the safety of students, staff and everyone’s associated family. It is also important, however, that the education we provide remains engaging and retains variety.
Please read the letter (linked below) and feedback any views or ask any questions. This is a genuinely two way process and we will take all views into account before finalising the plan over the summer.
